lesson learned

got some #1 3/4 i 4 coiled them instead of weilding nuts on the ends of the spring pings i fig i would just tack the pin to the frame. badddd idea well night latching and adjusting the dog i dry fierd the traps a couple times and snap one of the pins broke right in half. lucky i saved the old pins just incase. there went 3 hrs of time down the drain between changing them the first time weilding them then replacing them agen lessong learned. though.

Re: lesson learned

I'm not sure why you welded what you welded? I've four coiled lots of traps and never did anything special to secure the spring pin.
