Dog Proof Traps

Do you guys clean degease same as leghold and do you dye or paint them

All I do is degrease them and set them, some guys paint them white for attraction if you aren't worried about theft

I clean all mine of grease. I dyed some black, painted some brown, hard to find won't do that again, left some the where they are silver, but I waxed them all to prevent rust. When on perfect location, color doesn't matter, but think off a little bit silver out did the black n brown. Just my .02.

Take them out of the box and set them. When they start to rust in a year or so dip in Formula 1 a couple times.

I paint mine with heavy primer. Easier to clean the old bait and funk out
