Thanks Fellow Trappers

I decided to get back into trapping 2 years ago. The 1st year I read and studied everything I could get my hands on. Joined PTA and NTA, went to the Rendezvous, talked to fellow trappers and so on. I purchased dozen 1 1/2's, dozen 1's and dozen dp's. Made trap modifcations, boiled, dyed and waxed them all. The past season I couldn't wait to get out and try everything I learned. After my first week I caught my first coon. I tried all kinds of lures and baits, some worked some didn't. Finished the season with 9 coon, 1 fox and 3 grinners. Sold them to a local buyer (won't do that again). Saw where another trapper was trapping the same area I was, and respected his sets as he did mine. I am actually an old rookie, I live in the Southwestern part of York County and I only trap a small area. I really enjoyed this experience, but mostly I want to thank all the folks that posted their experiences, knowledge and insight to this site. Please keep the experiences and knowledge coming. Once again thanks and I'm itchin for this fall.
