Pos-i-Trip Question

During the last year I have heard about the pos-i-trip system but I really dont understand what it is. Can anyone explain? I'm going to get my equipment cleaned, waxed, etc and buy some new traps but I dont want to miss the boat if there is a better system developed.

Re: Pos-i-Trip Question

It gives you a center locator to connect your chain to. This allows for more even pull on the trap, not from the side. It also give you a new pan and attaching hardware. You also get a new dog that is night latched. This give your trap a "safety" so you know when your trap is set and ready to go. I know the guy that invented this system and he says that it is a must for your traps. I wouldnt go without it. It not only adds to the safety of your traps but it also adds to the effectiveness of them.

Re: Pos-i-Trip Question

I've used both the Posi-trip and the Sterling pans. I much prefer the Sterling.

Re: Pos-i-Trip Question

I have those on all of my MB 550's and 450's. I love them. The pan tension is something that is a thing of the past with these systems. I bought a dozen for my Bridgers too. Once i change them all over, I am gonna be real excited for next season.
