Re: blood removal

I've been getting blood out after I skin the animal. Get a bucket of steaming hot water and put the pelt in the water. Massage the blood clots out with your hands in the water, squeeze the water out of the pelt and then hang to dry. Water won't hurt, critters live outside.

Soapy H20 and rinse, towel dry, or hang outside-weather permitting

Re: blood removal

Rub the bloody spots with borax and let it dry. Comb out the dry blood with a finishing fur comb. Blood will be gone.
