Track ID

Came across these today while checking my line. My thoughts are bobcat. Any thoughts?

i would have to say bobcat also. not knowing how big it is though makes it harder to tell. young grey fox have kinda round tracks to or maybe a fisher have to see a couple track to see how it was walking.i got a book called trapping north american furbearers by s.stanley hawbaker it has a section of just tracks. good book not a bad price for it either.

Thats a cat track...........fisher tracks look like small bear tracks....it is not "pointy" enough to be a fox track.....

One thing that stinks about this situation is that I don't have a cat permit because I never thought/knew there were cats in this area

Well its definitely a cat but from the pic no way of telling if its bobcat or domestic. If I posted a pic of a single track from my cat it would look exactly like that.

Stand up and be counted, join an outdoor sports organization

I came accross some cat tracks on my travels today in indiana county, just curious if your trap line is on one of the the game lands in the county
