Bucket Set

Was just sitting here thinking about ways to set for coon and I came up with this idea. Let me know if you guys would think it would work. Get a bucket of some sort and cut like a 3 or 4 inch hole on top and bottom so when bucket is on its side the holes are against the ground. You then put the traps next to bucket and bait in bucket so when they try to get it bucket...WHAM!! you got em. Not sure if this will work. What do you guys think?

Re: Bucket Set

sounds like to mutch work iv seen were they just set the bucket on its side bait in it and trap in front stick a rock on top so they dont nock it around and steal ur bait. the bucket acts as eye appeal for the coons and cats. good luck

Re: Bucket Set

Cbowers I was just trying to decrease chance of bait getting stolen and increase chance of getting doubles. I know that I could do it without all the cutting and just put the bucket out.
