The Reds are out in force!

But I still canti catch one in a trap... I called at least 3 possibly 5 different foxes in to one setup last night while hunting (and pretty much spooked all of them for one reason or another). They were barking in all different directions. It was almost like spring turkey hunting. Ive had traps set all week and only have 2 coons a skunk and a barncat to show for it. Ive got tracks and digging near a few of my sets. Im almost certain they are wary of my traps even though they were dyed, waxed, and handled only with rubber gloves. I just dont get it- they are everywhere when I hunt them so I thought trapping would add significantly to my numbers- it just does not seem to be the case...

I feel the same way. I even saw one today as I set a new trap up but I just cant seem to seal the deal on one at this new property.
