what do you guys do?

Throughout the month of december I had caught 4 coon and also had a couple of misses on some sets. But now the new year and colder weather came and now no luck. Does anyone else have this problem will the coon trapping get better or worse as the season progresses. Im new to this and would just love a little piece of knowledge from someone.

Re: what do you guys do?

Coon hole up when it's really cold, but will come back out with a warm up. The mating season should be starting which means boar coons will be out in any weather, so you may catch some even with it being very cold. Boars will roam all over the place too, so if you think your spot is now devoid of coons, the boars will come in looking for ladies. Set near or in water.
