mystery poop

wish i would have taken a picture but i didn't. was checking out a beaver spot and i found 3 piles of poop floating in the water. i'm usauly a pretty good poop inspecter, you could even say i know my s$^t. lol but this had me baffled. looked like a dog turd but was smooth, green/tan in color and when broken was pastey like clay or playdough with no defining things like scales, hair, bones, or woody splitters. i'm thinking beaver eating cattail or some other root but thought i'd throw it out here and see if any of you guys ever ran into it.

Now your diggin' where the 'tators are!
