Re: note from anti

I can't read it too well but it sounds like "terroristic threats" to me. Time to notify the local authorities.

That kind of stuff makes you want to take a week off work to just sit there......and wait. He will be back to check if his note did any good. Was it a hidden set or seen from a road? I hate doing it sometimes, but I'll pass up some good locations within public view just to avoid confrontation.

I agree, he will check there again. Set a game camera up high in a tree and get his picture.

Re: note from anti

“Coyotes weed out the sick and weak making the deer herd stronger. But if you must kill them, hunt them. Traps are barbaric and torture. Note the broken front leg from its panic attempts to free itself. I put it out of its misery.”

I don't get the strong reaction to this. I think its a non-trapping hunter that didn't like seeing a coyote with a broken leg fighting a trap. Report it because it is illegal, he may not even know it is illegal with leaving a note. There are no threats except from this forum. I don't like somebody messing with my traps either but its not worth the consequences of threatening another person with bodily harm, for you personally or for the sport. What is meant by "bullet ridden", shotgun?

Re: note from anti

I highly doubt the leg was broken unless you were using a huge trap. I have never had a broken leg on anything i have ever trapped. Glad i have never had to deal with people like this. Peoples misconception of what a trap really does is bologna. Hope you find the person.

Common sense isn't very common these days!
