#11 Newhouse ?

Any one have experience and/or opinions on the #11 Newhouse made by Victor. Thinking about buying a few for coon and mink. Just talking about the reg. jaw. Are they built just as good as the others??

Re: #11 Newhouse ?

I knew a Mississippi trapper years back who used Victor #11 exclusively. He was a total blind setter and he caught a wide array of fur bearers. I saw him take a fox from the wheel track of a field road and a mink from the top of a rock where he piled mud and gravel up around the trap to stabilize and cover it. He mentioned using them for otters too.

I do not think this gentleman lives anymore.

I trap mink because I don't know any better
