Trapping?

I want to get into trapping, but you need a separate license, a fur takers license. How do you go about obtaining certification to trap, and where can I do so.

Thanks

Re: Trapping?

I did that and can't find where to sign up, and the only class scheduled is a class in Johnstown. Should I call my regional office?

Re: Trapping?

Crow,

Do you hunt? Have you taken the hunter trapper educations course? If so you only need to get a furtaker license from the place where you bought your hunting license. If you have not taken the hunter trapper education course, I'm affraid you are out of luck until spring and summer.

Yes but does not include CR use. Cable restraints is a seperate class you would take if you wanted to use cable restraints for trapping yotes and fox later in the year.
