Caught Some Wild Hogs Last Night

Wild hogs run rampant over much of OK. Started trapping hogs in a serious way late last year.

This trap has accounted for 13 hogs in three weeks. Trap is baited with corn and sweet feed with a sprinkling of brown sugar on top. It has a trip wire attached to the stick holding the gate up.

"What do you do with all of them?"

We give them to folks who need the meat. A few get processed and the meat given to the food bank. Some trappers and hunters leave hogs to rot but i won't do that.
