dobbins backbreaker

has anyone tried dobbins backbreaker ? i need to order a few lures and and heard some pretty good reviews on it.

wanted to try it with coon/fox sets

has it been a mixed bag renny? ive heard it will catch anything from coon to coyote.

i've used it but think it's overrated.you will not become paul dobbins on it.i have had just as good luck on the castors i save myself and with carmens windriver.

Yes a mixed bag of critters. I use it as a change up type lure or just plain castor like dietsch. If I was going to chase just fox and coon I would use species specific baits and lures first.

ive always used lenon's #2 for fox and a homemade coon bait.
but thought about using this as a change up, have been getting more yotes moving through and was thinking they might pick it up.

something i missed is any castor lure works great on cats.so if you are looking to get one i would use this or any castor lure you can get your hands on

Greys and coon love it.I use it on rub sets..Catchs everything.For Beaver I use sweet water flat tail It's a better lure IMO..
