Waterway

Got a question How high can you put a trap in a waterway?I ask this because of the new cubby rule for body gripping traps.I've been looking online about fisher trapping and it seems the most effective way to trap a fisher would be illeagel in PA.But a lot of trees lean over waterways would it be legal to set a trap on a leaning tree over a creek? Just wondering.

Re: Waterway

I don't think that setting a conibear in a tree over a stream, creek, or river would fall under "the waterway" JMO.

Re: Waterway

I have no clue. The digest doesn't say traps need to be on the ground just in waterway and never heard anything about trees over waterway. They actually would be safer in trees tho won't catch any stray dogs that way.
