Re: no accorns

Larry I haven't found a acorn either. I have been archery hunting in Maryland and theres none in the area I have been in and last week 5 guys went to camp up in Cameron county and none of them saw a single one. They didn't see any deer either so I'm hoping when I go up today that I can locate some acorns somewhere.

Re: no accorns

I talked with a DCNR forester a couple weeks ago, he said there are no acorns anywhere in his area. District 8, Clarion/Venango/Armstrong area.

Re: no accorns

My white oaks here in SEPA had a bumper crop this year. There were deer out there every night for a couple weeks until they ate them all. Also, the huge flocks of bluejays were cool, constantly flying out of the tree with huge acorns in their beaks. There were at least 25 blue jays in the tree at a time every morning while waiting for the school bus with my son.
