Trapping stores in SE PA

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew of any "strictly" trapping stores or supply places that deal with trapping supplies or at least a staff that has knowledge of trapping, I would love to go to one and talk to someone in person and just get to know a little more about trapping. i.e. general terms, basics, types of traps, types of sets. If anyone knows of any I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Trapping stores in SE PA

Hello, I have an only trapping supply store at my house and have the largest trapping supply business for well over and hour drive in any direction from Warren at Grizzly Garys Outdoors, Warren, PA. My website is building fully operational and I will have everthing trapping has to offer by the end of the year. I do on-the-line instruction, 1-1 and seminars for planned events. If you want, I am available talk to trappers regularly after 9pm weekdays and all day weekends if you need to call. If you want to meet, I am at one of the stores after 5pm daily. With trapping coming, I will be in the woods soon! All my info is on my website at You are interested in a GREAT sport! Animal 814-730-6104 If you want to outsmart an animal, you can! Re: Trapping stores in SE PA

Hard time to start with less than 2 weeks before the season starts.

Check with the PA trappers Assoc. Look for a class in your area.

Check the internet for trapping videos on youtube. Get vids and books. But time on the line will teach you what you need to know.

Try and find someone in your area to ride along with.

Started in July/09 when I went to Maine.
Started in June/10 when I went ti Iowa.
Started in July of this year getting everything ready for New York.

Stick with it. You will get it with time.

PM me when you have the time.
