I run 10 - 15. But I am still a rookie so to speak and don't have too much land to trap right now.

I believe it is all private land.
Alot is open to the public, but privately owned.
It takes a lot of time knocking on doors.

I set up 15 or so farms then adjust from there.

Now days given my age and health and given the species I am trapping 10-12.

Up until a few years ago when I long lined mink 200+.

I trap mink because I don't know any better

Re: How many traps do you run at a time?

Funny this should be brought up. I guess I run about 30 between water and canines which is nothing really, but looking at my trapping tab for the year so far my wife thinks its got to be a hundred. I just got my last order from MTP and picked up more traps from Epler and I think im around 1000 bucks for the year. Now, I just have to catch enough for the gas....good thing I have a full time job. I guess some times i wish i could run more traps, but on the flip side, I think I appreciate and enjoy trapping more the less traps I have out. This way I get to enjoy the catch instead of quick remakes and hurrying to the next location.
