trap storage

i need some ideas on how to store dyed and waxed unused traps from year to year

I store them in plastic totes also.I bed them in straw or dry leaves to keep the traps from rubbing in transport and the wax takes on the straw/leaf smell.

I store them in totes with some straw but I was taught to drill a few small holes to alow a little ventalation so the wax wont get moldy
