Out of State Tannery

Curious if anyone has an idea of whether or not one needs any kind of tag from the game commission to send fur to get tanned out of state?

News to me, shipped to NY two years in a row and didn't have a tag? I didn't ship any bobcat though.

I guess you people just refuse to believe me, You can send them out without it, but taking a chance is completely stupid, when the permit is free, and no hassle at all......

Here is the reg from the digest:

Exporting Furs: It is unlawful to ship furs or harvested furbearers outside the state unless an official “Shipping Tag” is properly attached. Tags are
available from Game Commission offices and licensed fur dealers.

You can find it on page 73 of your digest as well.....

Re: Out of State Tannery

What difference does it make? Does that mean NAFA is getting a shipping tag for every person that ships fur? Or doesn't it apply to them. Not trying to argue as it is what it is.
