Beaver seat covers

I sent a lot of beaver to the tannery last season, sold most, but still had a few left. I bought a Subaru Forester this summer for my primary hunting and trapping vehicle. Unfortunately it has white upholstery, which isnít too good of a fit with me. I had a few hides that I caught in late winter that had some guard hair damage, so I figured they would make great seat covers. They fastened up easily and feel great on your hind end.

You need a bigger beaver for the seat back. This one was probably 45 lb. The seat bottom was most likely a 30 lb beaver.

Hereís a beaver teddy bear I had made for the newest grandkid thatís to be born Friday. I had bears made for all five grandsons, they are made from coon, possum, red fox, muskrat and grey fox. I think I like the beaver bear the best.

No matter how many kids there are, Iím not chopping up my bobcat or otter for teddys.
