My wife had both knees done ...one at a time. That then her broken ribs etc.....I am becoming quite the caretaker, but it has put a hitch in my hunting.
I paid Hern a visit today. He really looked good, the surgery went well and so far the therapy has been going well, his therapist told Hern he was further along than what he expected. He thinks he will be able to drive in 4-6 weeks. He has a therapy session this afternoon and then next week it will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday. He has some exercises to do at home and he is doing them. I think Hern will have a rather speedy recovery as he is listening to his doctor and therapist.
do the therapy exactly as they say regardless of how well he feels. when i had my hip resurfaced i pulled my I-T Band the first week. i was doing the minimum and it felt good. i moved it up and it felt good..i maxed it out and thats when the band went...LOL
the instructions were kinda vague, they said 10-30 repetitions 3 times a day. they never said start at 10 and work your way up to 30
Thank you all for the kind words.
Am doing therapy and at home therapy. Feeling stronger each day.
I know it takes time, it's just a matter of time.
My best to everyone this season.

Glad you're doing well Hern. Man, that pic gives me the shivers.
