Since I joined Facebook, never thought I would ahem lol I’ve been cruising the sell, buy, and swap sales, actually that how I found the gas burner, I saw this on there and just thought it would make a great conversation piece in my living room. The guy I bought it from is/was a trapper and knows Hern, Nittany Lion, and a few others. I’ll let Hern try and figure it out lol This piece is all wood, handcrafted by a gentleman from Wisconsin. The links are carved from wood, I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it. This gentleman has another one that’s 2’ x 3’ but wants a lot more money for it. This one I have is about 27” tall and a foot wide. Here it is hope you all like it

Nice find! Should fire up some interesting conversations. Hard to believe it's all wood, nice craftmanship.
Thanks for sharing!

Very cool!!

I found a different trap clock...made from actual double long spring traps and the clock done in a similar fashion on the pan. I think he welds them open and paints them. Price wasn't much more than the cost of the trap. Of course I forgot about it till I saw this post and doubt I can the guy again. Can't even recall where I saw it posted...

Wink

Nice find bud. That would look sweet at camp.
