Got myself a better propane

2 burner stove for boiling traps and making waxed dirt. The people I got it from said it was his grandfathers so it must be pretty old but man does it ever throw a flame. I’ll hook a 20lb tank to it!

Now you are almost ready to longline. Convention season will be a good time to expand your brigade.

A friend made me a boiling rig from some industrial shelving and 2 burners from an old boiler. He built a crane on it to lift hot dozens of traps from pots. It is a really efficient set up. Another friend gave me the hose and fittings to hook to the free natural gas. Cut boil time about in half from over the 2 fires time.

The difference between dreamers and achievers is action.
One try is worth a thousand guesses.

That's cool. That will do the job. I like it.
Time to get traps tuned & boiled.

Hey Stan,
That will do the job. I have some extra empty tanks over at camp you can have to do an exchange or refill if you want.

A squakin' turkey don't live long

I only use a single. Do several hundred every year. 6 at a shot. Use peat moss. Wax dirt = waste of time!

Nice. I use a turkey cooker and a 1/2 of a 55 gallon stainless drum.

We had very little rain or no rain since last Sunday. This was a great week to sift peat moss, sift dirt & dry grass clippings.
