Pete Rake R.I.P.

I got news that Pete Rake passed away last night.
Pete was D7 Director.
Pete was a long time Fur Buyer from Washingtonville, near Danville.

Good bye old friend.

Talked several times to Pete, he was an all around good guy. Pete gave countless hours to District 7 and the association promoting what we all love to do. He will be greatly missed by the trapping industry. Tight chains Pete.

I met Pete on Saturday at Chubbs trapping supplies. Sold him my furs and talk for over two hours about trapping and fur handling. I’m grateful to meet him when I did. Rest easy friend.

Always enjoyed running into Pete. He was easy to talk to and eager to give advice. I'll miss seeing him around.
