Winter water line

Here’s the post deer season catch pic. I also got 2 reds, one coyote and a fisher along the river while tending coon and rat sets. Pic includes 18 beaver ( sold another on the carcus for taxidermy ), 16 coon, 15 rats, 3 possum, 2 mink and the canines and fisher.
No traps out now, but I have more beaver spots to hit in March after the weather breaks.
casey, bohunr, drags and 19 others like this.

Nice to see them when they are put up like that.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Oh yeah, well put up fur is a simple pleasure to those that appreciate it.

Listen, or your tongue will make you deaf.

"When a pine needle falls in the forest, the eagle sees it, the deer hears it, and the bear smells it."

You end up with arms like Popeye after fleshing a bunch of beaver. The smaller ones are really easy, but the large ones don’t want to give up that layer of gristle without a struggle.

Looks good buddy!

The difference between dreamers and achievers is action.
