Ride-a-Long with Nittany Lion

Today I rode along with Nittany Lion & Dave Dressler on their Mink line.
I had a great time and experience with two good friends and top notch trappers.
The catch today is 3 Coon, 2 Muskrat and 6 Mink.
What seemed odd to me, all Mink were caught by a back foot or both back feet.

Here's some pictures from today...

Thats quite a day's haul! Did Todd's mink lure contribute to that catch?

Jim mentioned a set with Todd's lure that caught a Mink today.
Jim is using a different bait (not lure) this year that is producing good results.

That's a heck of a mink check. I'll probably catch around that many all season if I ever set them. Water has been so up and down I haven't even made a water set yet other than a few bottom edges that haven't connected YET! Next several days look good!
