Anyone Sell their fur yet?

Was wondering if anyone sold fur yet this season and if so what kind of prices you got?

A promise made is a debt unpaid.

I haven't trapped in years. I do take my deer hides to local fur dealer. When I took my buck hide, last week, he told me the market was flooded with fur. He said some were throwing fur away, it was bad.

the guy at the fur shed in spartansburg told me coon prices were non existent. you might get $5 for a huge boar in the winter with really prime fur.

That is probably really a true statement for this year. Catch it and give it away. I'll still set some steel.

Just the way it is before it comes roaring back.
You can not sell them if you don't have them.

I love to trap, but unless something changes bigtime, the furs are all going to the tannery this year. There's a fine line between selling fur and giving it away and today's market is so low, there really is no viable market for the common items.
