Aging a Coyote

Here's a simple way to determine a Coyote's age.
Look at the wear of a tooth or teeth. I usually check the canine teeth.
With a trapped Coyote, Coyote could have been biting on trap or chain. So take that into consideration, after taking a good looksee.

Thanks for sharing. I'll give there chompers a little closer look this season. I caught a huge female red this past season and would of liked to known her age.
