PTA District 5 Fur Sale

District 5 of the Pennsylvania Trappers Association will be holding its annual fur sale in the 4H building at the Bedford County Fair Grounds in Bedford, PA on February 11, 2018.
Doors open at 7 AM and the sale begins at 9 AM. You must have your fur takers license and be a member of the Pennsylvania Trappers Association. Memberships will be available at the sale.

No word on how many buyers for this sale.

Went with a buddy to the sale yesterday.District 5 still runs a good sale.Prices where low and not much fur their but the sale was ran very well.You could sure tell nobody was trapping hard this year.Heard several people saying about how much Dutch will be missed at the sales for now on.Always liked watching Dutch biding Zanders up.

I didn't make this years sale. I had heard from someone who was there mention the prices were poor and the number of skins was low as well.

I'll be dropping off my short catch to Greg Kohl when he makes his way through here on March 3rd for his annual NAFA pickup. What I should be doing is storing them in the freezer for next season but the wife is never happy when she finds fur in the freezer.
