Yotes got there before I did

Checking the line this morning and noticed one of my traps was set off. Upon further investigating, I found that the yotes got to me catch before I did. Amazing thing about it was my buddy hunted the farm last night for yotes and left around 1:00 am.....I got there to check the traps around 7:30. So apparently he probably set the stage for this. Called the fox in, got caught and the yotes got a free meal. Unfortunate but I remade the set and also put a flat set in along the trail leading up to it. Hoping to see one of those yotes in it in the next few days.

Wow, I find it funny how many guys have trouble with eastern Coyotes killing and eating fox in traps.
We have a huge amount of coyotes out here and I catch fox and coyotes close to each other all the time out here and the coyotes don't seem to bother the fox like they do back east. I have never had a fox touched by a yot out here, I have found a stripped jackrabbit leg in a trap before.

You get out of your dog what you put in to your dog!
