Tutorial on Drag and Drop

Tutorial on Uploading Pictures

When you want to post a picture click on the Reply Button, scroll down the page until you see "manage attachments". Click on that and a box appears. Then click on the top "Browse" button then another box will appear with your pictures on it. Scroll up until get to the Drag and Drop File Upload. Then left click and hold on the picture you want and drag it inside the Drag and Drop File Upload, you'll then see a green dotted box then let go of the picture then let it upload. You can put multiple pics in. For pictures that are not resized you'll have to let it upload for a bit then you'll see a thumbnail sized picture. Then click on the browse and pictures boxes to delete them. In the reply box you have to add text or it won't take.

Thank you Moss. Like BigBrownie mentioned, "very helpful".

Do you know the reason for "some" uploads (pictures) changing their orientation when finally uploaded? On multiple occasions I have photos that display in the forum rotated 90 and 180 degrees from their original format?

Thanks in advance.

Moss, I think I do pics another way. Maybe not a better way, but another way.
Click on REPLY
Reply box appears
Above box, There's a paper clip icon. Click on that for attachments
Then Click on Browse
Your pics will appear for your computer
Click on pic you want to post, then click open
That will put pic in first Browse box
To post a second pic, click on next Browse box, then click on pic, then click open
Repeat for more pics.

Press Upload
When pic is loaded, the Browse box will go blank, empty.
Then press, close this window
Click on paper clip icon again, click on attachment. Your pic will appear.
If more than one pic is downloaded, click on 'insert all'.

Chaos: I think this may have something to do with pics taken from a phone... on a phone screen, the photos automatically adjust to the orientation of the phone. if you view them in a photo program on the computer, you may find they are rotated one way or another... if you correct (rotate) in a program prior to uploading to the website, the orientation should (hopefully) be fixed when displayed on this website (...just an idea to try)

Copy all JHoff, your probably spot on, those rotated pictures were probably via a phone, not sure now but a good chance. Sometimes I use my brides iPhone, and other times I use an iPad. Will have to check it out. Thank you for your time and assistance.
