got my fisher

Got a female Monday morning and let her go because I wanted a male to get tanned. The female was only toe caught or I would of kept her because it was well below freezing. Here`s a picture of what most of my sets looked like this year other than a couple rock cubbies.I use beef fat and strawberry jam for bait and gusto on top of the box.

I did alot of trail camera use and tried to figure out what fisher like most but allso will not rot if the season would be warm or freeze like a brick if it is to cold.I was told about the beef fat and strawberry jam from a fellow trapper in Main.
dietsch and bumprded like this.

Neat! Lots of the around here, squirrels and turkeys are in fear!

Well, sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes, well, he eats you, so the Dude must abide!

Nice job

Beef fat and strawberry jam would work for me too.

Not a trapper, so explain why the box in back of the trap. No need to bury the trap like I see done for fox/yotes?

Plenty of scouting and good habitat makes for a great hunt.
