Live traps

I had my five year old out trapping with me for the first time this month. He got two coons in live traps last week.

Just curious if you guys ever targeted anything else using a live trap?

Re: Live traps

In the back of our property, I target Possums & Skunks.
Once in a while someone will dump off a litter of half grown cats, around here. When need be, I target them as well.
I've targeted Squirrels at our bird feeders, too.

Re: Live traps

I meant animals you targeted for fur like fox, bobcat, etc... I know they make some giant live traps. I didn't know if there were any other furbearers besides coons dumb enough to go into them.

I've caught my fair share of cats, a squirrel, a few opossums and even a porcupine. Luckily, no skunk yet.

Re: Live traps

How big of a live trap for the fisher? Were you trying to catch them or just setting for whatever walked in?
