Sold my left over reds--NAFA

Just checked my account and I sold 7 of the 9 reds left from last season. 13.60 average, 18 for a high. None were top quality. The three that didn't sell are DMG. Just glad they sold. Still have 15 coons there 12 of which are selects and 1's.

Re: Sold my left over reds--NAFA

Would that be the average after all fees are deducted?

Re: Sold my left over reds--NAFA

Sold 17 of 22 I had left over. I'm happy with it, price is better than last year in my case. Mostly graded as II and had a few go as high as $18 a piece. Average was $14.85. Not overly excited about it but beats $5 at the country buyer and glad they moved.

I was thinking of calling around to some country buyers to see what they are giving. Just don't like driving an hour to the closest ones.

Re: Sold my left over reds--NAFA

I would guess that most of them are going to be in tune with the auction prices unless they have some sort of buyers lined up looking for certain quanities! I'd be interested if anyones paying close to nafa prices I got 40+ more to sell from this year!

Putting most of my stuff up now. I'll have 20 more reds. I'm not sending up my grey, I have three up there already for 4 auctions. My wife will be impressed with my tannery bill this year.

Re: Sold my left over reds--NAFA

Mine sold too. 8 of them for a $14.50 average. I would say that isn't horrible since they were my worst hides from last year. There was one sdg and 7 II's. Had one coon go for $15 and my tiny cat from last year sold.
