"Flagging" for bobcats?

So what are the rules for using flagging for bobcat sets? I know you can not use bait that can be seen from the air but can you use a feather, fur, or flagging in the area (5 - 10 feet away) to attract a bobcat to general set location? Just wanted to know what the rule was before I made any sets....thanks

Re: "Flagging" for bobcats?

it is my understanding that feathers and fur are considered bait. you can use christmas tree tinsil, duct tape, pie plates or my personal favorite CD's. and there is no problem. other than everyone that happens along will find your set. I drill a small hole in the top of the cd and put a fishing swivel through it and tie it off it spins with the slightest breaze and reflects any little light can be seen from a long way off.

in Pa you can't use any thing that can be seen from the air so you have to be careful what you use and how you use it.
