I am putting out some sets this week and have never used peat moss before...usually have wax dirt. Anyway, anyone use peat moss and how does it work out for you? Any tips welcome. Thanks!!

I've always used it and found it to be great. It dosen't freeze, unless it get soaked with rain. Then you stand a chance of it freezing. Sometime you'll get a light layer of frost on the top. It's so thin that IMO a critter inspecting your trap would still set it off. I usually just take my trawl and remove the frosted area then apply with fresh peat moss.

Use it right out of the bag, keep it in plastic coffe cans, 1 per set generally. Works great, just pour it on.
