Russian Trappers

Watched a documentary, "Happy People" on some Russian Trappers who lived in Siberia, Russia.
Didn't see one parka, the latest and the greatest, costing $250-$300, from an American sporting goods store.

And they were surviving in minus 30 degree and better weather.

Hardy happy souls. Gives me inspiration from some of my older winter equipment.

Re: Russian Trappers

Saw that before, theres a 4 part on youtube and sort of the 'finished' edited one on netflix. The 4 part was really good and interesting. Sort of feel bad for the poor guy catching all those marten then getting hosed by some suit fur buyer! But I guess when you live in the tundra and have no means of getting out you take what you can get!
