Re: Trappers.com?WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM ?

You mean trapperman com?

I went through it & so did everyone else to gain access to the site. I can't blame them.

What's wrong with trying to filter out the anti's? It's just a few simple questions. Even if you never set a trap, i'm betting with your experiences you'll be able to reasonably answer their questions.

Good luck, it's an excellent site.

Re: Trapperman.com?WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM ?

I did not have a problem answering the questions. Anti trapper trolls would love to get on a site like that just to rile things up. Answer the questions and register. Its a great site with lots of good guys and many of the top professional trappers that are very willing to give good advise.

Impeach Cuomo!

Re: Trapperman.com?WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM ?

Yeah...but I'm a predator hunter...I don't know one trap from another..nor enough knowledge to answer half the questions,I just wanted to learn in the forums..and ask some questions, but if it's their law...quess I'll just look threw their forum for myself.Shame a 53 year old,Hunter of 43 years has to be question about something he does nt know anything about...sounds --- backwards to me...

Re: Trapperman.com?WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM ?

I've been a member for many years, since long before Paul (site owner and son of legendary trapper Charles Dobbins) started the screening process. I guess he did it because of anti's repeatedly posing as trappers to join then causing trouble.

Whatever the process is, it is well worth your time and effort. There is a large volume of wisdom from some of the nation's top trappers and many, many others archived on that site. That alone is worth the price of admission.

Eh...wot?

Copy and Paste the questions here. I'm interested to see what they are.
There is so much information in the archives of that site that you'll be glad you took the time to get on there. I've even got a thing or two archived there come to think about it.

Re: Trapperman.com?WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM ?

The questions I recall were kinda basic...favorite species to trap...favorite set...things of that nature...

I wasn't s trapper yet when I joined and merely wrote a short response stating I was a hunter and was learning to trap and eager to learn the ins and outs...

I do recall there was stuff I simply couldn't answer because I wasn't a trapper...

Like was said its a screening process...I'm sure it helps catch some unwanted visitors..

Like #17 said...the archives alone are worth "the price of entry".
