Boomer Learns a Lesson

I have two cables hung on either side of the faint two-track running through this CRP field. I was walking up on this catch with Boomer at heel when he decided to break and charge the fox. The instant I yelled, "sit", he hit the other cable which brought him to a sudden stop.

He looked at me with awe-filled eyes, amazed by my new-found power. I let him out of the cable and he decided to be a good boy the rest of the trip.

He looks a little sheepish and embarrassed in this pic...he should.

Eh...wot?

Nice.
You want to talk about embarrassing? I caught myself by the foot in my own cable more than once. That formula 1 dip really blends them in apparently.

Re: Boomer Learns a Lesson

Just the look of; "" how did dad get that power"" . Boy I'd better listen.

Darn beagles would have that lost puppy look too, but with them hard heads it never lasted long enough. Only ever had one great beagle that listen the first time. All the rest they were good listing dogs but they never compared to her.
