Humility

I learned an important lesson today in the ways of humility. ive done alot of complaining and head scratching trying to figure out why i cant catch somethin other than a possum this year. is it the weather? is it my bait? bad location? i whined and whined. well last night someone heard my pleas and decided it was time to shut me up. early this morning i drove up on a big ol black and white stinker. ill never complain again! lol

Re: Humility

UPDATE so the skunk was in the second to last trap of the check. i shot him and figured ill give him a half hour or so for the smell to dissipate before pulling him out and then check the last set. well wouldnt ya know ive got a big boar coon waiting for me in the last set. MY FIRST DOUBLE. im absolutely ecstatic right now. a skunk and a coon probably isnt much for you experienced guys but a young buck like me this is awesome

Re: Humility

Be careful what you wish for, I guess you had this coming :-)

Congrats on both! Once you get past the stink, I think the skunk actually look quite nice. Are you going to tan him to hang on your wall?
