finding furbuyers

Hey folks,

I used to trap as a kid. I never was really serious about it, and just let my friend who knew a furbuyer in Mayport sell the furs and kick me some of the proceeds. We mostly used his traps and trapped on his land anyway.

I now have access to a chunk of state forest land where trapping is allowed, and which has quite a few foxes as well as a nice stretch of stream which surely holds raccoons and possibly mink, so I'm thinking about getting back into the game. Thing is, I have absolutely no idea how to go about finding someone to sell my fur to. Anybody have any advice on how to go about finding someone, or know someone that buys fur in Chester or southern Lancaster county?

Re: finding furbuyers

Would that buyer in Mayport have been Gary Gruver?

Re: finding furbuyers

May well have been, I never went along. My friends the Keplers from out by Corsica took care of the furs, I just helped make sets.

Rodgers in Honey brook. Plus he still buys in the round if you don't want to skin your self

A government that doesn't trust it's law abidding citizens to bear arms is unworthy of trust itself.
