track ID

fund these on a creek bank under a bridge. It appears to be an animal super highway. there are hundreds of tracks from different critters on this bank.

my guess is dog as well. However, there aren't any located near this area, which makes it a bit odd.

They have an X between the pads, not 5 lines, so most likely coyote. Something I learned about coyote tracks. Dogs almost always have 5 lines. These look right size for coyote. That one up by the ring finger tip looks just like the coyote tracks I saw at the farm I am at. There is no sign that any dogs are running free over there, and there shouldn't be any either. I have seen feral cat tracks though, and buttloads of red fox tracks.

Tight toes, 2 visible toe nails, 2.5". I would guess yote on that one.
