I built mine for near nothing. I did have to get a coated cable from the local home place. I had the nut, the bolt, the washer and the crimps and used an old sturdy metal broom handle. It's a good way to let little target ones go. Every trapper new or old should have one.

Looking for something for Bobcats or anything else that happens to come along. Going to set one for my Daughter. Strictly looking for Bobcat.

I've had no experience with bobcats, but I have read that they are susceptible to stangulation if using a catch pole to release. Maybe some others with more experience can chime in. I have used my homemade pole for releasing small coons though. Good luck this season.

the cats you have to get 1 leg in the loop also.they like to twist a lot,this keeps them from choking out.
