TRAP DOG AND PAN

Anyone in the Beaver area that can assist me to align the dog and pan on a trap? Never did this before. it is way off. Thanks

What do you mean by aligned? Does the dog reach the pan? Give us pictures. Too bad I don't live anywhere near beaver. I'd definitely help you out.

to set the dog on the pan, I have to lift the pan straight up. I know I have to bend the dog holder, just worried I might mess it up. If that is even possible.

The pan is vertical? Just grab the frame where the dog attaches with a pair of pillars and bend toward the pan until the pan is level with the jaws when set. Plenty of videos on YouTube that show this.
