Who Wants Coyote Fur?
It is that time of the year when I start taking long slow daytime walks through Penns Woods with my trusty 12 ga (in addition to nighttime hunts).
I am addicted to coyote & crow hunting. IMO - the only diff in these 2 critters is one has legs and the other wings...
one particular part of this obsession sort of bothers me:
I don't keep what I shoot.(besides a few crow feathers for fly tying).
The crows - I thank them for the excitement they provided with their F15 style flybye - but smile cause I shot that bandit down - no real problem.
Yotes - I know some folks despise them and wish every one were dead - but I don't think like that. I respect and admire them greatly- as they are - IMO - the smartest critter in the woods (smarter than me and most other hunters with guns).
I have killed 11 yotes in 5 years - that is not earth -shattering stats - but reflects the challenges of where I hunt - the Big Woods - and my limited abilities as a yote hunter - always a new trick to learn and get humbled by Mr Wiley.
I have no desire to harvest furs, process furs, sell furs. I know the turkey buzzards gotta eat - but I feel bad when I leave a dead yote to rot.
so - if any of you folks live within a reasonable distance of 18661 (White Haven), and would like the furs I harvest (no promises - I'll give it my best shot - pun intended):
I'll keep them for you (I may even freeze the whole carcuss so I don't mess up the pelt while skinning.
If interested, please PM me and we can trade info - and hopefully you get a few visits from me this fall & winter (Primetime).

Just trying to stockpile some good karma with the hunting Gods.
