Fox sets for wet weather?

What kind of fox sets can I do in wet weather when the soil is muddy and wet the way it is now after that rain.I managed to have a little dry dirt under a tarp that I remade a dirthole set with but are there any other options?

Re: Fox sets for wet weather?

Look at FTW's hay set tutorial. This set works well just remember to cut up the hay real small to cover the trap with. also use peat moss/cover hulls.peat moss can be bought at lowes/homedepot but cover hulls at trapping stores/feed mills. I recommend buying buckwheat hulls form the feed mill. they are like $8-$10 for 40-50lbs versus $24-$28 for 22lb bags at trapping store. don't put cover huls inside as they have bugs in them.
