Heavy Rains

We got about 5 inches of rain last night, major flooding on all the streams in my area. I hope some muskrats and mink survived.

I didn't make it to the gym today. That makes five years in a row.

Re: Heavy Rains

Just think, the muskrat population was on the rebound after I caught an earth shattering 3 this past season. By the way, that was the most I caught in one season in the 21st century. Now, every muskrat east of the Allegheny Mountains have been washed into Maryland and west of the mountains they've been washed to Ohio. So much for the muskrat comeback.....

The horizon is your starting point.

Re: Heavy Rains

pretty sure all the water critters know how to deal with water. litters of coon , fox and such might be affected in localized flooding. i know a few years ago after a hard spring rain i found a baby coon struggling to survive in a ditch along the road.

Now your diggin' where the 'tators are!

Re: Heavy Rains

Nittany Lion, As fast as the water came up, may have some effect on young litters.
