I have some from my beaver I caught a couple of weeks ago drying in the shed. I planned on just keeping it and making some kind of lure out of it for next season but I dug out my NAFA tags and receipt since the NAFA guy is coming for the September sale pickup in 2 weeks and I noticed castoreum on there.
never personally sold , but there is / was a good market on it . my philosophy was always why sell what ,in my opinion is the best lure making ingredient out there . straight castor has been death for many beaver , cats , and fox for me over the years .
trapperrick i sell my castor to nafa.just make sure its dried.you can get castor bags and tags from your agent or put it in a small onion bag and weigh it than a paper bag. put your info on a tag. last year i got $1.75 and $2.50 a oz.they grade it out as full/cln./ord.
